![]() ![]() Clumsy grabs an explosive liquid that Brainy invented and uses it to blow a hole in the wall. The Smurfs are now separated in the tunnels. The Smurfs fall into holes while the dragonflies breathe fire down there, making Gargamel think they are dead. He causes Clumsy to grab one of the dragonfly eggs, leading to the other dragonflies to chase after the Smurfs. Gargamel then shows up with Azrael and Monty. The Smurfs break free from them and soon run into flying creatures that breathe fire, which Brainy decides to refer to as dragonflies. Once they make it through the other side, they are grabbed by live flowers that try to eat them. Hefty, Brainy, and Clumsy all follow and join her. Smurfette sneaks out that night to go through the wall. When they get back to their village, they are discovered by Papa, who is not happy that the Smurfs went past the wall. Gargamel spots them and tries to capture them, but the four escape. While Gargamel is distracted, Hefty, Brainy, and Clumsy make it inside and break Smurfette out. After throwing part of it into his cauldron, he and his pet cat/henchman Azrael discover that the hat came from another village of Smurfs beyond the Forbidden Forest, with his only clue being an image that looks like three trees. Gargamel throws Smurfette into a cage as he snatches the hat away from her. Smurfette's friends find her but she is suddenly snatched by Monty as he flies back to Gargamel's lair. She sees that the creature dropped a hat similar to her own, only made from a different material. She follows the creature until it sneaks back through a crack in a wall separating the Smurf village from the Forbidden Forest. After Smurfette goes up for boarding, she lands in a spot where she sees a pair of eyes. He sends his pet vulture Monty to go down and get some Smurfs. Meanwhile, Gargamel is continuing to do what he can to get his hands on the Smurfs. Smurfette is invited by Hefty, Brainy, and Clumsy to go Smurf-boarding with them. Papa used his own magic to make Smurfette good like the rest of them, but nobody is quite sure how to explain just what Smurfette is. Then there is Smurfette (voice of Demi Lovato), who was created by the evil wizard Gargamel (Rainn Wilson) from a lump of clay to go into the Smurfs' village and steal their magic. The film opens with Smurf elder, Papa Smurf (voice of Mandy Patinkin) introducing all the Smurfs in the village - Clumsy (voice of Jack McBrayer), Hefty (voice of Joe Manganiello), Brainy (voice of Danny Pudi), Grouchy (voice of Jake Johnson), Baker (voice of Gordon Ramsay), Vanity (voice of Titus Burgess), Jokey (voice of Gabriel Iglesias), plus Nosy, Paranoid, and Table-Eating Smurf, among others. So how does this one fair out in comparison to the first two Smurf movies with the first being awful and the second being a slight improvement but still lacking? Let's find out. While this film's CGI animation might not necessarily suit it well, and there were a few cringey things such as the thumping electronic background music and the "smurf selfie" scene which no doubt about it became horribly dated even before the movie came out. Growing up with the 1980's Smurfs cartoon as reruns, and having been a teenager/young adult when the first two live-action Smurfs films were released (which creeped me out at the time), I went into this one not really knowing what to expect. Its characters have a lot of charisma, the graphics are very nice, and the game is fun if you like this genre.Nothing Smurf-tacular, but is better than the first two "Smurf" movies. Smurfs' Village is a social game that is very popular for its own merits. This way will help keep things moving, but it is not necessary to properly enjoy the game experience. To buy almost all of the game elements you will need to have blueberries, that you can collect little by little, or buy with cash. Also, you can participate in fun mini games with any of them, which will give you many benefits for your village, and it will grow each time more and more. Inside the game you will meet the most famous smurfs, like Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Lazy, Handy, and Funny smurf. Smurfs' Village is an online social game along the same lines as CityVille or FarmVille, in which you have to build your own village of smurfs, manage all its aspects, and play with them to keep them happy.
